I can't wait to participate in these challenges. I love to make cards from sketches and use supplies that I already have on hand. A little twist to this challenge was to incorporate a star into the layout some how. Well, I set to work and here is what I came up with.

I cut my one inch strip of patterned paper from a leftover scrap of On The Dot paper and used some DCWV textured white core paper for the other side. I ran it through the Cuttlebug using a star template. I used a couple of old ribbon scraps and a star eyelet. Finally - I used my printer to create a sentiment that I thought would be fun for the troops. I might just send this card to my favorite troopers!
Here is a copy of the "friends" sentiment for you - it prints out at 2" x 2.5"
Will you use it on a card? I would love to see what you can do with it.
Happy weekend everyone! We are snowed in and I am taking advantage of the day by catching up with laundry and cards. Hooray!
