Love You A Latté!

Let's kick off the weekend by indulging in a few great things..some freshly ground and brewed coffee, some papery goodness and some sketch cards!

First of all, I tried my hand at The Tea Bag Tutorial again, only being curious, I used yesterday's coffee filter instead. To my surprise and delight, It works great... Leaving an interesting background texture and yummy coffee smell behind too!

How fun for using my new stamp set, called "Cup Of Cheer" by CTMH. I also used one of the new alcohol markers in Crème Brulee which is nice, because that's what kind of creamer I put in my cuppa his morning. :) the white bits were done with a white gel pen. Aren't those coffee beans cute? I stamped with Cocoa ink and colored with a Chocolate marker.

Don't forget to run over to Stars & Stamps to pick up sketch #134 and follow the links to get old sketches too.

  3. The textured background works really well for this card. I love the effect of white gel pens on kraft too... it adds just the right 'pop' to the image. Nice job with this week's sketch Nancy!

  8. Never met a coffee card I didn't like. This is a fun one. I was born and raised in Nampa. You live some distance from there. Haven't been to your neck of the woods for a good 40 years. I became an Oregon girl way back in 1963

  11. That a fun card! (And, if you're sending it to OWH, even better because troops run on coffee!) I really, really like it bunches. Though now you have me craving an iced coffee. I'm off to make a cup.
